Ty·rode solution
or Ty*rode's solution n : physiological saline containing sodium chloride 0.8, potassium chloride 0.02, calcium chloride 0.02, magnesium chloride 0.01, sodium bicarbonate 0.1, and sodium dihydrogen phosphate 0.005 percent Tyrode, Maurice Vejux (1878-1930), American pharmacologist. An instructor of pharmacology at Harvard Medical School, Tyrode specialized in therapeutics.
