Brill's disease

n :  an acute infectious disease milder than epidemic typhus but caused by the same rickettsia
 
Brill, Nathan Edwin (1860-1925),
American physician. In 1910, after studying 221 cases, Brill published the first description of the disease now known as Brill's disease.
