Fröh·lich's syndrome

or  Froeh*lich's syndrome  also  Fröhlich syndrome  n :  ADIPOSOGENITAL DYSTROPHY
 
Fröhlich, Alfred (1871-1953),
Austrian pharmacologist and neurologist. Fröhlich investigated a wide range of topics bearing on pharmacology and neurology including the influence of various therapeutic agents on the central nervous system, the pathways for visceral pain, the contraction of striated muscle fibers, and the effect of Pituitrin upon the autonomic nervous system. He published his account of the condition now known as Fröhlich's syndrome in 1901.
