necrotic enteritis

n :  a serious infectious disease of young swine caused by a bacterium of the genus Salmonella (S. cholerae-suis) and marked by fever and by necrotic and ulcerative inflammation of the intestinal wall - called also necro  - see PARATYPHOID  .
