Gart·ner's duct

n :  the remains in the female mammal of a part of the Wolffian duct of the embryo - called also duct of Gartner 
 
Gart•ner, Hermann Treschow (1785-1827),
Danish surgeon and anatomist. Gartner discovered the duct that now bears his name in a sow and in 1822 wrote a detailed description. The structure was apparently first discovered by Marcello Malpighi about 1681.
