Da·rier's disease

n :  a genetically determined skin condition characterized by patches of keratotic papules - called also keratosis follicularis 
 
Da•rier, Jean Ferdinand (1856-1938),
French dermatologist. Darier is known for classic descriptions of three conditions affecting the skin: the hereditary dermatosis now known as Darier's disease (1889), acanthosis nigricans (1893), and the skin eruptions associated with tuberculosis (1896).
