gland of Moll

n :  any of the small glands near the free margin of each eyelid regarded as modified sweat glands - called also Moll's gland 
 
Moll, Jacob Antonius (1832-1914),
Dutch ophthalmologist. In about 1865 Moll wrote the first satisfactory description of the glands of the eyelids that now bear his name.
