Mont·gom·ery's gland

n :  an apocrine gland in the areola of the mammary gland

Montgomery, William Fetherston (1797-1859),
British obstetrician. In 1837 Montgomery published an article describing the sebaceous glands of the areola, which are now known as Montgomery's glands. He also described the enlarged sebaceous glands observed on the surface of the areola during pregnancy. These tubercles had been observed previously by Giovanni Morgagni but have been since identified with Montgomery.
