also Web*er-Chris*tian's disease n : PANNICULITIS 2 Weber, Frederick Parkes (1863-1962), British physician. Weber was on the staff of an English hospital for patients with tuberculosis. He is best known for his studies of the therapeutic benefits of climate and mineral waters. In 1925 he published a description of a disease which was described independently by Christian in 1928; it is now identified with both their names. H. A.
