ventral corticospinal tract
n : a band of nerve fibers that descends in the ventrolateral part of the spinal cord and consists of fibers arising in the motor cortex of the brain on the same side of the body and not crossing over in the decussation of pyramids - called also anterior corticospinal tract , direct pyramidal tract .
