Krau·se's corpuscle

n :  any of various rounded sensory end organs occurring in mucous membranes (as of the conjunctiva or genitals) - called also corpuscle of Krause 
 
Krause, Wilhelm Johann Friedrich (1833-1910),
German anatomist. A professor of anatomy at several German universities, Krause published a handbook of human anatomy and a treatise on motor nerve end organs. Krause's corpuscle was described for the first time in 1860.
