Feul·gen
adj : of, relating to, utilizing, or staining by the Feulgen reaction <positive mitochondria> Feulgen, Robert Joachim (1884-1955), German biochemist. Feulgen introduced the Feulgen reaction in 1914. This reaction, which is specific for DNA, transformed nucleic acid cytochemistry.
