yellow fat disease

n :  a disease esp. of swine, cats, and ranch-raised mink that is associated with a deficiency of vitamin E and is marked by inflammation of the fatty tissue, subcutaneous edema, and varied visceral lesions - called also steatitis , yellow fat  .
