Ei·sen·meng·er's complex
or Ei*sen*meng*er complex n : the combination of a congenital defect in the septum between the ventricles of the heart with its early complications that include left to right blood flow through the defect, increased blood pressure in the pulmonary arteries, and hypertrophy of the right ventricle Eisenmenger, Victor (1864-1932), German physician. Eisenmenger described Eisenmenger's complex in an article published in 1897.
