Lau·rer's canal

n :  a muscular duct in some trematode worms that arises from the oviduct between the ovary and the omphalomesenteric duct and passes to the dorsal surface
 
Laurer, Johann Friedrich (1798-1873),
German pharmacologist. Laurer described Laurer's canal in an article published in 1830.
